Supreme Court denies using word 'Faryadi' for Prime Minister

The Supreme Court Thursday categorically denied that Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar had attributed the word 'Faryadi' to Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2018 ):The Supreme Court Thursday categorically denied that Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar had attributed the word 'Faryadi' to Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Referring to a news aired by different media channels, a Supreme Court press release said the CJP never used the word 'Faryadi' for Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. "It is categorically stated that this attribution to the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar is completely wrong and malicious," the press release said.
"Any misgivings in this regard should, therefore, be put to rest as the CJP holds the Premier in high esteem, being head of the government," it added.
