Ceasefire violation: FO summons Indian deputy high commissioner

ISLAMABAD: Indian Deputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh was summoned to the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Saturday to condemn the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control in Dana Sector that resulted in the shahadat of an innocent civilian and injuring a boy.
The Director General South Asia and SAARC urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 ceasefire agreement, investigate this and other incidents of ceasefire violations, instruct the Indian forces to respect the ceasefire in letter and spirit and maintain peace on the LoC and the Working Boundary.
